Fake Defamation Reviews From Competitors
As a service oriented business, we take in our customers’ reviews very seriously and treat each positive review as a norm while taking each and every negative review with extra care as we want to know which are the areas we can improve on so as to be able to provide better services to all our customers.
Just to share a little insight on how we handle our customer feedback,
- Our Ops Manager will personally attend to each and every review.
- A Thank You Email will be sent out personally to each customer who gave us positive feedback.
- When a negative feedback is received, we will first contact the customer as soon as we received the feedback to get the actual details so that we can conduct an internal investigation. And of course, our Ops Manager will apologize to the customer for their bad experience and we will ensure that the customer will not go through the same bad experience again.
- Based on feedback, we will reach out to the staff involved and conduct retraining to ensure the service quality rendered by the staff.
It is not uncommon to receive negative reviews as this is how we can learn and improve from our mistakes. However, it’s not a simple issue when we received defamation reviews that will mislead our potential customers and tarnish our company’s reputation and image. We checked through our database and came to realized that two recent negative reviews are not posted by our genuine customers and a simple check shows that the profile used to make these reviews are fake.
We can only assume that this is done by our competitors who are trying to tarnish our reputation simply due to jealousy of our success. This is not the first time we have faced unhealthy competition rendered by our competitors. To prevent more of such defamation reviews from fake profiles, we have filed a police report for record and will take legal action if this continues.
It’s inevitable to face competition in any industry but we hoped that instead of going through such means, we can have healthier competition by providing better services quality to the consumers.
