Does Breast Enhancement Really Increase Self-esteem?
With health and fitness being one of the hottest topics online and offline along with the raise of fitness models, women’s body shape trend is now all about being fit ( And healthy, but let’s be honest, not as much as being fit.). The pursuit of “the perfect body” seems like a fulltime job, or as seen on Instagram. Fitness models all around the world are sharing tips and techniques to shape your legs, your arms, your abs and many more. One thing that fitness models can’t help you with is breast size.
Ironically, the one thing that stands still through different female body shape trends in history is the preference of larger breast size.
How do I know?
My very traditional Asian born and raised mother had started making me Chinese cuisine that are “helpful” for ….breast size development when I was in my early teen’s, using “family recipe”. That’s right, the pursuit of larger breast is restless and has gone from generation to generation. And judging by the popularity of push-up bras and other breast enhancement procedures, one can only conclude that just like diamonds, the pursuit of larger breast size is forever.
Does breast size play a part in one’s feelings in daily life?
For fitness, most people do it for two reason – too look good and to be healthy. When you look good, you feel good.
Now, beauty is in the eyes of beholders, but the social trend is usually a safe bet. Take cowboy boots for example, you don’t see them in the city, but once you get to the country side, cowboy boots seem to be the only thing people wear. Something so common and popular in the country is at the same time very strange in the city.
Body shapes are exactly like this, different body shapes each have its own dominating demographics or geography. However, one thing remains commonly preferred across demographics: larger breast size. Under this circumstance, it is very common for people to associate larger breast size with “good look”. Once again, when you look good, you feel good.
By now everyone knows that women wear high heels to make our legs look longer, we put on make-up’s to look prettier, we dye, style our hair to look nicer, we sometimes even wear spandex to make the body shape looks nice. All of which is fundamentally a form of beauty enhancement. We have already been doing everything we could to better from head to toes, as it is widely accepted in society, it only makes sense that when it comes to breast size, we also try to enhance it the best we could.
Push-up bras have a larger fans base, as well as a more permanent solution – breast enhancement.
In the end of the day, all of these things that we do, we do it to feel good. The satisfaction of a woman’s own approval when she looks into the mirror is not only priceless, but also something men can never understand. Sure, men understand that it makes a woman happy when she looks good, but the level of happiness and satisfaction in it is something only women can understand.
Self-esteem and beauty enhancement
The key factor of a healthy self-esteem is self-approval. The pursuit of beauty and beauty enhancement has been consistent among the female population throughout history, it is understandable that the level of self-esteem raises when a woman thinks she looks great.
Of course, some women that are big on clothing and accessories, some are big on fitness, not every woman has the desire to enhance their breast size, but, given that it is generally considered more attractive than smaller breast size, the pursuit of larger breast is not uncommon. And when a woman believes she looks better with larger breast, she then will be happier with larger breast. Breast enhancement can give her exactly just that and beyond.
The self-approval and satisfaction from increased attractiveness definitely contribute to self-esteem, indirectly and sometimes even unknowingly, self-esteem is boosted by breast enhancement.[sgmb id=1]
